BoQ, Estimates & Rate Analysis
Know the real cost before the first brick
A BoQ (Bill of Quantities) lists every item of work, its quantity and its rate. With one in hand you know the real cost before you start, you can compare contractors fairly, and nobody can bill you for work that was not done.

Questions
BoQ, Estimates & Rate Analysis: common questions
Drawings if you have them. If not, a sketch with plot size, number of floors and the finish you want is enough for an early estimate.
Government and many institutional projects are estimated on DSR or the state schedule of rates. For private work we usually price on current market rates, and can show both side by side.
