Waterproofing & Leak Diagnosis
Find the leak first. Then waterproof it once.
Most leaks are treated where the stain shows. The water usually enters somewhere else: a terrace slope, a cracked parapet, a failed pipe joint, a cold joint in a basement wall. We find the entry point first, specify the system that fits it, and test it before anyone calls the job done.

When to call us
Signs you need this

- An overhead or underground tank losing water
- A waterproofing job that has already failed once
What we do
The work, desk by desk
Every job starts with the cause. Here is what this department covers.
Leak tracing
Moisture mapping, terrace slope checks, pipe pressure tests and flood tests to locate the entry point.
System selection
The right treatment for the surface: membranes, cementitious coatings, PU systems, injection grouting or crystalline treatment.
Terraces and roofs
Slope correction, parapet and drain detailing, expansion joints and protective layers.
Basements and retaining walls
Treatment from inside or outside, injection for active leaks, joint sealing.
Wet areas
Bathrooms, kitchens, balconies and tanks, opened up only as much as needed.
Supervision and testing
Surface preparation, coats and curing checked on site, then a flood or pressure test before handover.
What you get
In writing, every time.
Clear documents you can act on, hand to a contractor, or put in front of a department.
- Leak diagnosis report with photos and marked entry points
- Treatment specification and BoQ
- Contractor quotes compared, if you want
- Supervision checklist and test record
We were facing severe leakage issues, and IMGSY's solution was precise and long-lasting. Their assessment was thorough, and the execution was supervised professionally. Highly recommended for complex waterproofing works.

Questions
Waterproofing & Leak Diagnosis: common questions
The usual reasons are a wrong diagnosis, poor surface preparation, or a system that does not suit the surface. We check all three before recommending anything.
Sometimes. Injection grouting and some coatings work over existing tiles. Where the slope or base is wrong, breaking is cheaper in the long run, and we show you why.
The dry months before the monsoon. Leaks are easiest to trace during or just after rain, so a diagnosis visit in the monsoon is often the smartest first step.
